Our Podiatrists are able to expertly assess, manage & rehabilitate a wide range of acute and chronic injuries that can affect the feet, ankles & lower extremity.
Acute injuries are injuries that occur suddenly and are typically from one traumatic event, such as an acute ankle sprain.
The initial management of an acute injury is of utmost importance, as the first 72 hours after an acute injury will often influence the long-term healing & rehabilitation outcome.
Poor management of an acute injury can often lead to the affected musculoskeletal structures progressing in to a chronic injury.
